The intent of this forum is to be a place in which you can speak and learn about education reform.
We desire education professionals in LaSalle, Bureau, and Putnam Counties to post about the exciting things they are doing to make students better prepared for the new economy. Professionals should also share the real challenges they face, and their ideas on how parents and the community can be more engaged in their children's education.
We desire parents to post about the things they really like about their kids educational experience, and suggest constructive ideas on how things might be better.
The NCRBC believes that our economic future is directly tied to how education responds to the new economy. We also believe the attitude and involvement of the community and parents is key to the process.
We strongly encourage you to use your real name, but we understand not everyone can.
We strongly encourage you to write in the most constructive terms possible. Passion is fine, but presentation is paramount.
If these guidelines can be followed we intend to leave the forum "un moderated." This will allow for more rapid responses. If decorum cannot be maintained we will switch to moderated which will increase the length of time for a post to go live.
