Moving Forward- Sharing the Change

Since our Town Hall Meeting in Mendota in May of 2009 our Educational Advocacy Committee (EAC) has been hard at work looking for ways to a) promote our local schools in Bureau, LaSalle and Putnam Counties, b)prepare to organize our communities to participate and support our schools and c) investigate approaches and initiatives to assist in the continuous improvement of our local educational opportunities.
We are aware of some very exciting projects, programs, and ideas already being implemented in schools in our area. I'm sure there are even more that we have not yet discovered. This Share-the-Change blog will help bring more and more possibilities into our frame of awareness.
Working together, we can promote and provide the kinds of learning that prepares our children and ourselves for the future we are so rapidly entering.
